Factbox on Manchester United, who on Saturday won the 2009 Premier League title at Old Trafford: Manchester United are now champions of England for a record-equalling 18th time, their 11th Premier League trophy. Liverpool, vying for the runner-up spot with Chelsea, won their 18th title in 1990. United are the first English club to win two league title hat-tricks, a feat they last achieved between 1999-2001. The other clubs to complete hat-tricks are Huddersfield Town (1924-26), Arsenal (1933-35) and Liverpool (1982-84). Winning the title at Old Trafford is a rare occurrence. Of the 11 won in the Premier League era (1992-present) only once before have United clinched it at home, against Tottenham Hotspur in 1999. United's Premier League dominance makes for staggering reading. In 17 seasons since the league began United have been champions 11 times, runners-up three times (1995, 1998, 2006) and have never finished lower than third (2002, 2004, 2005). All eyes will be on whether United can triumph again in 2010. No English club has ever won the league title four seasons running.
