Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton are both keen on recruiting Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen. The Danish international made 25 league appearances for the Old Lady last summer after arriving from Sevilla. But with Claudio Ranieri having been dethroned in Turin by Cira Ferrara, the 29-year-old - who has featured 64 times for his country - is believed to be available for around £6 million. Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, Portsmouth and Fulham have all reportedly expressed an interest in bringing the midfield enforcer to England this summer, with the player's agent, Joern Bonnesen, recently revealing that a loan offer from Roy Hodgson's Cottagers had been snubbed. And Lee Anderson, Poulsen's English representative, has now admitted that both Liverpool, and Everton have made enquiries for the Dane. "It's complicated trying to find a club for Poulsen in England," he told Tuttosport. "The most recent interest has been from Liverpool and Everton, clubs that would be able to afford the player. "We have spoken, but it was preliminary contacts which have not developed." NEWS: Poulsen snubs Fulham loan offer NEWS: Foursome fighting for Poulsen
