Milan linked with Silva swoop

Valencia midfielder David Silva will be the subject of a big money move from AC Milan in January, according to reports.

Silva and team-mate David Villa were continually linked with a move away from Los Che during the close-season, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus all tipped to land the 23-year-old midfielder, who has made 90 league outings for Valencia.

A move for either player failed to materialse prior to the summer transfer window slamming shut, with the cash-stapped club securing a €74 million loan to safeguard their short-term future.

However, according to the Daily Mail, San Siro giants AC Milan are keen on recruiting the playmaker - who has 29 caps for Spain - ready for the second half of the Serie A campaign, and will be prepared to offer Valencia £25 million for this services.
