MEXICO CITY - America's Colombian defender Aquivaldo Mosquera has been suspended for three matches for punching an opponent, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) said. Mosquera punched Argentine defender Mauricio Romero in the face at a corner during America's 2-1 home defeat by Morelia in the Apertura championship on Sunday. Morelia presented a request to the federation's disciplinary committee for action against the Colombian, the FMF said in a statement.
