WARSAW - French-born newcomer Ludovic Obraniak struck twice to inspire Poland to a 2-0 friendly win over former European champions Greece on Wednesday. Obraniak, who became a Polish citizen in June, gave his team a morale-boosting victory ahead of next month's World Cup qualifiers against Northern Ireland and Slovenia. "I would warn against too much optimism. We played a good game but it was only a friendly and we are now looking towards the qualifiers," said midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski. Following a lacklustre first period, the match sparked into life after halftime. Obraniak deflected in a shot by Marcin Wasilewski in the 47th minute before sealing victory with his second goal of the game in the 79th. Poland have 10 points from six games and are fourth in World Cup Group Three qualifying, five adrift of leaders Slovakia.
