ATHENS - Greek champions Olympiakos Piraeus have decided not to renew the contract of their Spanish coach Ernesto Valverde. "Following Ernesto Valverde's non-acceptance of the Olympiakos proposal for extending their cooperation, the board has unanimously decided against renewing it (the contract)," the club said on their website on Friday. Talks about a new contract have been going on for weeks but on Monday the board made a "take it or leave it" offer to the former Espanyol coach, who took charge in May 2008. According to media reports, former Anorthosis Famagusta coach Temuri Ketsbaia has agreed to take over.
