MONTEVIDEO - Gerardo Pelusso resigned as coach of Nacional on Thursday, the day after steering them to their 42nd Uruguayan championship, local media reported. The club's youth coach Luis Gonzalez will take charge for Nacional's match against Cerro this weekend in the six-team qualifying tournament for the 2010 Libertadores Cup. Pelusso, who has also won league titles in Uruguay with Danubio in 2004 and Alianza in Peru in 2006, led Nacional to the semi-finals of this year's Libertadores Cup.
