Portsmouth have taken action against striker David Nugent and defender Marc Wilson for a breach of club discipline on a pre-season tour to Portugal. British media said the pair were fined two weeks' wages after the incident following Saturday's 4-0 loss to Benfica. The Premier League club said on Wednesday the matter was being dealt with internally. "All we are saying is David Nugent and Marc Wilson have both been disciplined for a breach of club discipline while on the club's recent trip to Portugal," a spokesman said. Meanwhile, Portsmouth have signed 30-year-old French striker Frederic Piquionne on a year-long loan from Olympique Lyon, the club announced on its website. They have an option to buy Piquionne, who joined Lyon for 4.5 million euros last year from Monaco having also had spells at Rennes and St Etienne. He has one cap. PORTSMOUTH FANS!
