Pre-match report nails Chelsea-Barca outcome?

Chelsea fans have been left stunned and frustrated after learning that a dummy UEFA match report allegedly forecasted a 1-1 draw in their Champions League semi-final second leg with Barcelona just hours before kick-off. The Blues bowed out of Europe courtesy of Andres Iniesta's heartbreaking 93rd minute strike - the Catalans' only shot on target of the match - with Norwegian referee Tom Henning Ovrebo incurring the wrath of Chelsea supporters, players and staff for waving away four penalty appeals. And it is has been claimed that the outcome of the fiery fixture had been correctly predicted before a ball had even been kicked, with UEFA's website believed to have published a dummy report forecasting a 1-1 draw and late equaliser for Barcelona. While the report is also thought to have predicted that Didier Drogba, Michael Ballack and Alex would be yellow carded, which they were along with Michael Essien, Daniel Alves and Samuel Eto'o, with Eric Abidal seeing red. “This ‘test’ is remarkably similar to the actual result,” a Chelsea fan told The Sun. The discovery will only intensify claims from conspiracy theorists that UEFA was keen to prevent a second all-English Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester United in as many years. The general secretary of European football's governing body, David Taylor, has reacted angrily to the suggestions. "It's a load of crap," he said. "If anything, it's a media conspiracy against UEFA. It really makes me angry because it's a load of rubbish."
