PSG recruit Kombouare to replace Le Guen

PARIS - Antoine Kombouare will be Paris St Germain's coach next season, the Ligue 1 club said on Friday.

The 45-year-old, currently coaching Ligue 1 rivals Valenciennes, will take over from his former team PSG mate Paul Le Guen, whose contract ends at the end of the season.

"Paris Saint-Germain, Valenciennes and Antoine Kombouare have reached an agreement meaning that Antoine Kombouare will join PSG next season as first team coach," PSG said in a statement on their website.

Kombouare has signed a three-year deal, said PSG, who will make sure of a place in next season's Europa League if they beat Monaco in the French championship's last round of matches on Saturday.
