Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has revealed the Reds will not be signing Valencia midfielder David Silva this summer. The Spanish international continues to be linked with an end-of-season move away for the cash-strapped La Liga outfit, with the Merseysiders and Juventus believed to be the front-runners. However, Benitez - who already has Spanish national team members Jose Reina, Alvaro Arbeloa, Albert Riera, Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres in his Anfield squad - says Silva will not be adding to that list in the summer. "We will not be signing him," he told Liverpool's official website. "We are working hard, talking with the scouting department and looking at names and options for next season. "It's still too soon, but we are working hard." LIVERPOOL FANS!
