Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has dismissed reports linking Spurs with central defensive threesome Brede Hangeland, Richard Dunne and Sylvain Distin. The White Hart Lane supremo's pre-season has reached crisis point with defenders Ledley King, Michael Dawson and Jonathan Woodgate all sidelined through injury, with striker Roman Pavlyuchenko also currently on the treatment table. As a result, Redknapp has been linked with a string of stoppers to help fill the void at the heart of his back-line, with Fulham enforcer Hangeland, Manchester City skipper Dunne and Portsmouth rock Distin all tipped to join the North London club. However, the 62-year-old has insisted that it is highly unlikely that any of them will be joining his squad this summer. "Hangeland? There's no chance of getting him," he said. "Fulham won't sell him. I even tried to sign him for Pompey. "Dunne is a good player and I nearly took him to Portsmouth last year, while Distin's going to sign a new deal at Fratton Park. "Portsmouth need to keep some players if they can." SPURS FANS!
