Samir Nasri: I could've had a better career

Samir Nasri has admitted that he looks back on his career with regret…

Nasri, who drew comparison to Zinedine Zidane when he was younger, has just finished his fifth season at Manchester City. Since joining from Arsenal in 2011, the Frenchman has won two Premier League titles and was in the winning League Cup team of 2014.

Sometimes I look at myself and think I could have done better.

After joining City, many Arsenal fans criticised him with some claiming that his move was money motivated. Nasri has scored 26 goals for the Citizens, one fewer than he managed in three seasons at Arsenal.

He confessed that when injured, he often thinks about what his career could have been.

"One thing that I have learnt is that you should do everything to become successful because you don't want to have any regrets in your life," Nasri said. "Sometimes I look at myself and think I could have done better."
