Second straight Diyarbakirspor match abandoned

ISTANBUL - A Turkish championship match involving Diyarbakirspor was abandoned on Sunday when up to 60 of the team's fans rushed on to the pitch after a goal by opponents Buyuksehir Belediyespor, state-run Anatolian news agency said.

The game in Istanbul was stopped in the 87th minute and was Diyarbakirspor's second consecutive match halted due to crowd trouble.

Last week, 10 people were injured in clashes between Diyarbakirspor and Bursapor fans in Diyarbakir, the biggest city in Turkey's troubled Kurdish southeast.
