LONDON - Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre is a major doubt for Wednesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against his old club Manchester United. The Frenchman went off during the 2-0 defeat of Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Sunday, adding to manager Arsene Wenger's defensive headaches. "I believe the only serious problem we have from today is Silvestre, he has a back spasm," Wenger told reporters. "He is a 50-50 (for Old Trafford)." The fact that there were no other injuries was a relief for Wenger who is already without left back Gael Clichy, central defender William Gallas and striker Robin van Persie.
