Stuttgart, having been snubbed by Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, are now weighing up a move for the Dutchman's team-mate Alvaro Negredo, according to the Spanish media. The Bundesliga outfit were poised to complete the signing of the 25-year-old ex-Ajax talisman having had a bid accepted by the Bernabeu giants, only for the forward to turn down the move. But not to be deterred, Markus Babbel's side are now turning their attentions to fellow Real front-man Negredo, according to Marca. The 23-year-old bagged 32 league goals in 70 outings for Almeria after arriving from Real's B team in 2007, with the youngster's form leading him to be linked with Liverpool in the past. While Tottenham Hotspur were recently reported to be leading the chase for the front-man's services, with manager Harry Redknapp also keen on bringing Huntelaar to White Hart Lane.
