Toronto to host MLS finale

TORONTO - Toronto has been selected as the venue for Major League Soccer's championship game this year, marking the first time the final will be played outside the United States, MLS commissioner Don Garber said on Tuesday.

The contest is scheduled for November 21 at BMO Field, the home ground of Toronto FC, who have sold out every match since entering the league in 2007.

Last year's MLS Cup was staged in Seattle with Real Salt Lake defeating David Beckham's Los Angeles Galaxy 5-4 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 following extra-time.
