Belgian international Thomas Vermaelen says Arsenal have agreed a £10 million fee with Ajax for his services. The 23-year-old central defender, who has spent five years at the Dutch club since moving from Germinal Beerschot in his homeland, told Algemeen Dagblad: "Moving to Arsenal is the right path for me. "It is a great sporting challenge and I will also be financially better off. I think everything is going to be OK."
