Vidic dreaming of Barcelona switch

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic would be 'delighted' to join Spanish treble winners Barcelona, according to the player's agent. The 27-year-old has made more than 100 league appearances since arriving from Spartak Moscow in 2006, scoring eight goals and, alongside Rio Ferdinand, forming one of the most solid defensive partnerships in Premier League history. However, the Serbian international - who has 40 caps for his country - could be the next high profile name to leave Old Trafford following Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez, after his representitive Paolo Fabbri revealed Vidic would be keen on a switch to the Camp Nou. "Vidic would be delighted to play at Barca as his dream is to go to the Spanish league," he told RAC1. "We have to analyse the situation but, being realistic, things are complicated at the moment. "The team just lost Cristiano Ronaldo and [Carlos] Tevez and they do not want to lose another important piece of their starting XI once again." UNITED FANS!
