Brazilian starlet Wellington could be the next prodigy to join the Gunners' armoury of young talent in the summer, with manager Arsene Wenger believed to be keen on bringing the Fluminense whiz-kid to England. The 16-year-old striker continues to be linked with a move to several of European football's big-hitters, including Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea. However, Arsenal appear to be in pole position to nail his signature, with the talented forward having impressed during a seven-day trial with the Gunners in December, in which he scored four times in an 8-4 win against Norwich U16s. The Brazilian U17 international has yet to put pen-to-paper on a permanent deal with Fluminense, making him available. And he has confirmed his desire to play in Europe as part of his career plan. “I am going to make a decision regarding my future in the next few weeks and what I want to do is play in Europe,” he said.
