Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he will not be increasing his offer nor his efforts to sign Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh this summer. The Moroccan international, who has netted 15 times for his country, has been the subject of one of the longest running transfer sagas of the close-season. Chamakh, whose 13 goals last season helped secure a first league title in 10 years for les Girondins, has made no secret of his desire to leave the Stade Chaban Delmas. He has claimed to have agreed terms with Sunderland, Fulham, Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur, adding that he would prefer a move to Arsenal. The Gunners have already seen a €7 million bid for the front-man rejected, with the striker believed to have flown to London over the weekend to try and force through a move to his dream club. However, Bordeaux chief Jean-Louis Triaud has insisted that, while they would be willing to sell Chamakh to the Emirates Stadium outfit, Wenger will have to stump up a lot more cash, believing the forward to be worth at least €15 million. But the Frenchman has now insisted that he will not be bowing to Triaud's demands, retorting that should Chamakh stick to his vow of not extending his current contract, he will soon be available for free. "In five months, if he doesn't prolong his contract, Chamakh will be free to talk to any club and Bordeaux won't get anything," he told L'Equipe. "In the current context, to me, it is over. Let's say that at the moment it is terminated. "I like Chamakh, he is a forward that attracts me, but I already have Walcott, Bendtner, Van Persie, Arshavin and Eduardo. I am in no rush. "My offer seems fair to me, taking the market into account. Chamakh would be good, but there are other options should we wish to pursue them."
