10 Under-23 players to look out for in the 2018 S.League

We are part of The Trust Project What is it?

Ikhsan Fandi, 18

When it comes to the Fandi family, the expectations always seem to be high.

Fandi Ahmad was a Singapore great, and Irfan looks to have settled in the footballing scene quite well.

And perhaps, 18-year-old Ikhsan might just be able to light up the league next year.

The young forward made ten league appearances for the Young Lions this year and made his debut for the national team in a 1-1 draw with Hong Kong in August.

He also started all of the Young Lions' four SEA Games games, netting once.

Iqram Rifqi, 21

In March this year, Iqram walked away from an Adidas futsal tournament with the ‘Most Valuable Player’ title.

Little did he know that the achievement would only be a stepping stone to greater things for him.

The skilful and exciting 21-year-old midfielder finished with 18 appearances for Home United and even got himself a goal in the League Cup and Singapore Cup.

If he keeps it up, Iqram could be another gem in Home United's crown.
