Albirex defender Yanagi makes the leap to Japanese second division
The 23-year-old had a standout season in Singapore, making 22 league appearances and scoring two goals, as Albirex claimed the quadruple for the second consecutive year.
The 1.87m youngster played such a key part in Albirex's backline that the White Swans’ only two losses came when he was not on the field.

“l have decided to move to Albirex Niigata Japan for the coming season. For the past season, our team reached our target of retaining the four titles," said the defender.
