As we all know too well, the Malaysian Super League’s little brother lacks the organisation, overall quality, and most importantly, the coverage of Malaysia’s top tier. So, we’re doing our part to shed some light on the Premier League, and all its wonders, particularly after some of the league’s members caused such a sensation in domestic cup competitions last season.

After spending some time under the blazing tropical sun for 4.45pm kick-offs (that’s what happens when your stadium lacks floodlights), this list of ten of the most underrated, most unsung heroes the Premier League has seen so far was born. Bearing in mind that the Premier League is also a fertile stomping ground of numerous ex-Super League stars, we’ll be foregoing the obvious picks, dispensing with the mainstream names.
