How to catch the Bundesliga's hippest team in Singapore
Mats Hummels. Ilkay Gundogan. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Shinji Kagawa. These are now household names for the average football fan, thanks in no small part to BVB's emphatic rise over the last few years. The German team might now be shorn of their enigmatic former coach Jurgen Klopp, but there's still plenty to like about the club from the Ruhr.
As part of their Asian Tour, the eight-time Bundesliga champions will be arriving in Singapore on Wednesday afternoon (scroll down for details) before making the trip across the Causeway for their Larkin Stadium date with Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) the next day.
Singapore fans hoping to catch a glimpse of their idols need not worry though, for they will be back in town on Friday, with several players set to attend meet-and-greet sessions in the afternoon.
Arrival (Wednesday July 8, 2015)
Borussia Dortmund are flying on All-Nippon Airways Flight NH841, scheduled to arrive at 5.20pm at Changi Airport Terminal 2.
They will then proceed to the Fullerton Hotel Singapore, where the team will be staying overnight.
Return to Singapore (Friday July 10, 2015)
Two meet-and-greet events are scheduled for Friday in Singapore, with fans given the option of heading to Orchard or Ubi.
Aubemeyang will be joined by Neven Subotic and BVB legend Lars Ricken at the PUMA Weston Outlet (313 @ Somerset) at 2.30pm, while Lukasz Piszczek and Jonas Hofmann/Matthias Ginter will front up at the Opel Singapore Showroom (Alpine Centre) at 3.00pm.
