Warriors FC

Finally some news from the Choa Chu Kang side and it was of epic proportions after they secured Singapore internationals Baihakki Khaizan and Shahril Ishak.

Both veterans have moved over from Malaysian outfit Johor Darul Ta'zim II and will make their first S.League appearances in years.

Hyrulnizam Juma’at and Ang Zhi Wei are among those reported to have joined the Warriors too, although there has been no confirmation from the club.

It also seems likely that Sahil Suhaimi is a possible option for Warriors, after they missed out on Khairul Amri (Tampines), and Hougang are said to have cool their interest in the striker.

Tampines Rovers

Daniel Bennett became the latest Stags’ signing after failing to agree a new contract with Geylang International.

His arrival will prove timely, after the reported arrest of Shakir Hamzah for missing a court appearance — he has since been released on bail — could lead to Tampines being a man short in the defensive department.

The club still needs to find a replacement for Hafiz Sujad, who recently left for Thai League 2 side BBCU.

The likes of Izwan Mahbud and Shahdan Sulaiman have also extended their stays with the club.
