The Southern Tigers found their rhythm after a slow start and coasted to the straightforward victory.

Here is how the JDT players fared in the win.

Farizal Marlias (5): The goalkeeper will not have an easier match than this. Farizal barely did anything all night, with MIFA only showing glimpses of their attacking threat.

Aidil Zafuan Abdul Razak (6): The experienced defender did not have much to do all night, as MIFA barely troubled them upfront. Aidil dealt with what little came his way.

Fadhli Shas (5.5): Had to help La’Vere Corbin-Ong to deal with the threat of L’Imam Seydi. Fadhli was struggling with the sheer physique of the Senegalese forward. Missed a sitter in the second half.

La’Vere Corbin-Ong (5.5): Played most of the match upfront, but the left-back failed to make any meaningful contribution upfront.

Azrif Nasrulhaq (6): The romping right-back was full of running throughout the game, and offered more of an attacking threat compared to Corbin.
