Teen Fulham starlet Benjamin Davis called up to Singapore squad, Baihakki recalled
Davis plays for Fulham FC's Under-18 side after signing scholarship forms last July. He has started six games for the Cottagers' youth side this season, netting one goal.
"I was pleasantly surprised to receive the call up and this moment means a lot to me as I have always wanted to play for the national team," said Davis, who has previously featured for the Singapore Under-18s. "I will be making the most of this opportunity to learn from coach Sundram and the more experienced players whom I will be joining."

Also returning to the fold is 34-year-old defender Baihakki Khaizan, who last featured for Singapore at the 2016 Suzuki Cup. The veteran centre-back is currently on loan at Thai League 2 side Udon Thani and has featured prominently to date - even scoring a header in a 3-0 win over Thai Honda.
"I have called up a mix of players, with some new, some familar and some returning faces," said Sundram. "These two matches are important in terms of bringing in fresh players into the fold to complement the seasoned players."
Singapore will face Maldives on March 23, before travelling to Taiwan for their final Asian Cup qualifier group game against the home nation four days later. The Lions are bottom of the group with two points.
