Ten Singaporeans that Stange should consider

We are part of The Trust Project What is it?

Delwinder Singh (Hougang United)

Despite being one of the youngest players to have represented the country – he made his international debut as an 18-year-old in 2011  – Delwinder’s career never really took off.

That was until he moved to Hougang United midway through last season.

Delwinder should get a shot back at the national team.

These days, he is a regular at the heart of defence for the Cheetahs due to his excellent reading of the game and aerial dominance.

The 23-year-old put up an outstanding display to repel the likes of Ken Ilso and Irfan Fandi in their shock 1-0 season-opening win against Home United.

Also capable of playing on both sides of the defence, the former Tanjong Pagar United captain’s versatility would surely come in handy for Stange.
