Top 10: S.League fixtures to watch out for this season

With the 2015 S.League season set to kick off in early March, FFT’s Kenneth Tan picks out ten matches which could have a huge impact on the final standings…

We are part of The Trust Project What is it?

Season 2014 was truly a remarkable season with a total of 409 goals scored in 125 matches.

There were landslide score lines (Brunei DPMM 6-1 Courts Young Lions, Albirex Niigata (Singapore) 7-1 Woodlands Wellington, DPMM 8-1 Woodlands) and last-gasp victories (Tampines Rovers 3-2 Harimau Muda, Geylang International 3-2 Hougang United).

There were also high-scoring draws (Tampines Rovers 3-3 Warriors FC, Balestier Khalsa 3-3 DPMM) and the ultimate comeback show (Albirex reversing a 0-3 deficit to beat Geylang 4-3).

A new season beckons and the league has now shrunk to 10 teams, as they look to go head-to-head three times each in a 27-game season.

However, that doesn’t change a thing and we’re still expecting competitive football action between all teams involved.

FFT have looked through the full fixtures list and picked out ten matches which you shouldn't miss!

Note: Matches in Malacca and Brunei are left out due to their inaccessibility for local fans, we apologise
