Sky Sports reports that Atletico Madrid have approached Chelsea over a loan move for striker Olivier Giroud.
The French international, who failed to net in seven appearances for his country at the World Cup, scored three goals in 13 appearances last season.
However, the Blues will prefer to do a permanent deal for 31-year-old Giroud, who moved from Arsenal in January.
Mourinho keen on £65m Maguire
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is eager to sign Leicester City defender Harry Maguire with an audacious £65-million bid.
But, it is also stated that Mourinho may need to offload either Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly or Chris Smalling in order to sign the 25-year-old this summer.
The England international, who cost the Foxes £17 million from Hull City last year, has been offered a pay bump to £75,000 per week to stay at the King Power Stadium.
Roma consider Cech option

Everton near £50m Richarlison deal
Everton are expected to complete their record £50 million deal for Watford winger Richarlison in the next few days states the Mirror.
The Toffees are paying an inflated price for 21-year-old Brazilian after a rift emerged between the two sides over sacked Watford manager Marco Silva.
Richarlison, who scored five goals in 41 appearances, moved to Watford for £11.2 million last year.
Hammers’ £20m Vida bid rejected
Besiktas have rejected West Ham’s £20 million bid for defender Domagoj Vida according to Sport Witness.
The Croatian international, who is expected to cost £23 million, is also being tracked by Everton and Liverpool.
29-year-old Vida, who is contracted till 2022, scored a goal in 18 appearances for Besiktas last season.
