The South Korean international recently won gold at the Asian Games with his country and earned exemption from military service.
26-year-old Son, who signed a new five-year deal in the summer, managed 18 goals in 52 appearances for Spurs last season.
Sterling contract talks stall
According to the Guardian, contract talks between Manchester City and winger Raheem Sterling has stalled over wage demands.
The England international wants his salary raised from £170,000-a-week to minimally £220,000-a-week, but the EPL champions do not agree.
City could be open to selling 23-year-old Sterling, whose current contract expires in 2020, in the coming summer to avoid losing him for nothing next year.
Roma chase Lucas Vazquez
AS Roma are determined to try again for Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez in January reports Don Balon.
Spanish international winger Vazquez has been a longstanding target for Roma and the Serie A club failed to sign him in the summer.

However, with game time hard to come by under new Real manager Julen Lopetegui, the 27-year-old might be tempted to make the switch to the Stadio Olimpico.
PSG set to battle United over Paqueta
Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are hot on the heels of Flamengo star Lucas Paqueta states le10sport.
The Ligue 1 title holders are looking to bring the Brazilian international midfielder, who has a €50-million release clause, to the Parc des Princes this winter with United believed to have also opened up negotiations with the player.
21-year-old Paqueta, who has eight goals in 41 appearances this season, is also attracting interest from Barcelona and AC Milan.
Lozano expresses interest in Barca move
According to Goal, PSV winger Hirving Lozano has admitted that it is his dream to play for Barcelona in the future.
The Mexican international star, whose club is entertaining the La Liga champions in their opening Champions League match, told reporters at the pre-match press conference, “My agent told me that Barca asked about me, and it would be a dream to play there in the future.”
23-year-old Lozano, who has six goals in eight Eredivisie appearances this season, is also wanted by Barcelona’s domestic arch-rivals Real Madrid.
