FAS announces $25m MP & Silva partnership deal
The news comes hot on the heels of the company's landmark TV rights deal with the Football Association of Malaysia in January.
This partnership is the biggest ever in Singapore football history, with MP & Silva covering the global media rights to FAS' national and age group teams, sponsorship rights and international events for the Lions and national age group squads.
Besides offering consultancy for the FAS' media rights and helping to maximise the commercial value of Singapore's national teams, the London-based company will also help arrange development opportunities for players and high profile friendlies for the teams.
"This is a major milestone in Singapore football," FAS President Zainudin Nordin said.
"MP & Silva is an important key player in the football industry and we are delighted to work with them to revolutionise the way we market football and promote our national teams and enhancing fan support and engagement."
The partnership deal will run from 2015 to 2020, and arrives in the final year of the first phase of the FAS Strategic Plan.
