Home snap up former Metz trainee Adam Swandi
Adam was touted for the big time when he first burst onto the scene in the Lion City Cup in 2011 and subsequently made the move over to France to join FC Metz’s youth team two years later.
Having to serve his National Service obligations, Adam returned to Singapore in 2015 and played for the Young Lions since.
The playmaker has an eye for killer passes and is technically adept at holding possession, which led to former Singapore head coach Bernd Stange giving him his international debut when he was only 17.
Adam came on as a substitute for Indra Shahdan against Myanmar on June 4, in 2013.
This year, Adam is looking to break into the Southeast Asian Games squad that will be competing in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
Adam is the first signing Home have announced so far, but the Protectors said that more will follow soon as the 2017 S.League season beckons.
