Japan vs Brazil match sold out

Japan and Brazil will play in front of a full house on Tuesday evening, with 55,000 spectators expected to fill Singapore's new National Stadium.

Four-time Asian Champions Japan will be taking on five-time World Champions Brazil in a blockbuster international friendly on October 14, 2014 at the Singapore Sports Hub.

World Sport Group (WSG), event organisers for the match confirmed today that tickets for the match had sold out ahead of the game.

"With some of the world’s top football players in town for this exciting Japan v Brazil match, football fans are definitely in for a treat," said Malcolm Thorpe, Vice President of Sports Development & Events at WSG.

"We are thrilled to be bringing world class football action to Singapore, making this the first sold-out event at the new National Stadium."

Fans who have not managed to get their hands on tickets can still catch the match via StarHub, who will be broadcasting the event live on SuperSports Arena (Ch 112 or 205).

The game kicks off at 6.45pm.
