Kagawa returns to Japan squad for trip to Singapore
The Samurai Blue will face Jamaica in Niigata on October 10, before travelling to Singapore to take on Brazil on October 14.
Kagawa and Havenaar are among seven changes to the team that drew 2-2 with Venezuela last month, with Hannover 96's Hiroki Sakai and Koln's Yuya Osako among those dropped.
Captain Makoto Hasebe has also failed to gain a recall despite returning to full fitness, while the uncapped trio of Gen Shoji, Tsukasa Shiotani and Yu Kobayashi have been included.
Aguirre will be seeking his first win as Japan coach since taking over in July, and will be counting on Europe-based stars like Keisuke Honda (AC Milan), Yuto Nagatomo (Internazionale), Shinji Okazaki (Mainz) and Maya Yoshida (Southampton) to make a difference.
The four-time Asian champions will be looking to defend their crown at next year's Asian Cup in Australia, and will likely use the game against five-time World Champions Brazil as a good gauge of where they're at after a disappointing World Cup campaign.
