Singapore U21 to face China as Tardy recalls Hami and Pereira
Singapore's under-21 side will make the trip to Hohhot and Qujing to take on China’s under-22 line-up in two friendly matches on October 4 and 8 respectively.
This is a continuation of Tardy’s preparation for the 2017 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, with the 23-man squad possessing an average age of 19.65.
“China is one of the strongest teams in Asia, so we are very happy to be able to play these matches against them as part of our long-term preparations for next year’s SEA Games in Malaysia.” Tardy said in a media statement.
“With the SEA Games less than a year away, these friendlies will be a good test, because we saw in our recent match against Bahrain that there are still areas where we can do more.”
