Thai side BBCU keen on Hafiz Sujad

Thai League 2 side Big Bang Chula United (BBCU) were impressed by Singapore international Hafiz Sujad when he was on trial with them recently and are keen on offering him a contract.

BBCU team manager Veerayooth Bhodharamic shared with FourFourTwo Thailand that Hafiz is a transfer target for the club and a decision on him will be made soon.

"He is on the list of players we want to sign," Veerayooth told FourFourTwo Thailand. "He trained well with us and we're interested in signing him.”

The club however, will leave the final decision to newly-appointed head coach Pairoj Bavornwattanadilok.

Pairoj only officially took over the team on a one-year contract on Wednesday and he will be given some time to determine what his squad is lacking in.

“We have to wait for the new coach to make a move on some decisions,” Veerayooth said.

"The new coach wants someone who can get along well with our team's policy and ambition. Our only target is to be promoted to the Thai League 1 next season."

Apart from BBCU, the Tampines Rovers midfielder is also waiting to hear back from Thai Premier League side Sisaket FC.
