The roof blew off when these home teams scored

Orlando City Stadium opened in style on Sunday, with the home team defeating New York City FC, 1-0. Cyle Larin fittingly scored the first goal in MLS' newest stadium in the 15th minute.

We heard that the stadium would be loud, and Orlando City fans didn't disappoint.

Later in the night, expansion side Atlanta United put on a clinic in the first 45 minutes, stretching out the New York Red Bulls and going ahead in the 25th minute when Yamil Asad slotted home Tyrone Mears' cross for the first goal in franchise history. Atlanta sputtered toward the end and lost, 2-1, but nobody will forget that goal and the eruption that followed from over 55,000 fans.
