Barcelona are famous for their relentless production line of technically-gifted young talent - but how do they consistently produce players so at ease with a ball at their feet?
FFT spoke to Albert Capellas, a former youth co-ordinator at La Masia, who worked for the club between 1999 and 2010 before joining Vitesse Arnhem as an assistant coach.
During his time at La Masia, he helped develop numerous youngsters who have gone on to star for Barca's first team and represent Spain at international level.
We caught up with Capellas and asked him to reveal exactly how the club create master technicians.
Albert Capellas was talking at the Science + Football Conference. For more information visit www.scienceandfootball.com.
