Sunday will mark the beginning of the World Cup knockout stage with a clash between two sides who have never made it out of the groups before.

Canada finished as runners-up to Switzerland in Group B after claiming four points in their three games, including a 6-0 pummelling of Qatar.

South Africa meanwhile snatched qualification in the last game of Group A with a 1-0 victory over South Korea, having previously lost to Mexico and snatched a late point against the Czech Republic.

ITV pundits and commentators for South Africa vs Canada

Canada and South Africa will now get the round of 32 under way at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium, with kick-off set for midday local time (8pm local time).

ITV have picked up the UK broadcast rights for Sunday's only game, with coverage set to begin on ITV at 7:15pm.

Laura Woods will host the show from ITV's very impressive Brooklyn Studio with views of the Manhattan skyline. She will be joined in the studio by Bradley Wright-Phillips, Karen and Karen Carney to give their views on the first of the last-32 games.

On commentary Joe Speight is the lead with Lucy Ward on co-commentary duty for this knockout clash in Los Angeles.
