Tens of thousands of goals have been scored in the English top flight since the Premier League's inaugural season. Every August, one player claims the honour of scoring the campaign's maiden goal. This FourFourTwo quiz will find out how many of those goalscorers you can remember.
2026-27 is the 35th season of the Premier League and we want you to name the player who scored the first goal in each of them, including this season. Some of the goals are quite famous or very recent, but not all. So we're giving you a generous time limit for this one.
