Pre-Match Poser no.26: Can you answer this elite-level football quiz question?
"This ruined my evening": one FourFourTwo team member on the latest Pre-Match Poser
Pre-Match Poser time. You got this, Manchester City fans. Come on.
Sylvain Distin has three. David Silva and Micah Richards both have two each. Kevin De Bruyne, Rayan Cherki, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Rodri all have one each. Nathan Ake and Yaya Toure have none. One Manchester City player has six. What is it?
We'll reveal the answer this time next week in the next edition of The Pre-Match Poser – stay tuned for that – but for now, here's the answer to last week's conundrum…
Q. Your first thought may well be St. James’ Park – but what have Selhurst Park, Vicarage Road, and the Den all hosted that Newcastle has not?
A. Fictional English football clubs in hit TV shows. Selhurst doubles as Nelson Road in Ted Lasso, while Vicarage Road and the Den were both used as stadiums for Dream Team’s Harchester United. The Toon’s beloved ground was a location for the Goal! film – but of course, the real Newcastle United were used in that franchise.
