Germany are in action against Paraguay this evening, both seeking a place in the Round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup.

Die Mannschaft are usually staples of the knockout rounds but not since Mario Gotze's winner in Brazil back in 2014 have the Germans competed in knockout football at a World Cup.

Paraguay are their opponents this evening, looking to emulate their run to the quarter-finals in 2010. But, who are the commentators, pundits and presenters on the BBC's coverage?

Germany were beaten by Paraguay's South American neighbours in their final group game as Ecuador secured a famous 2-1 win.

Julian Nagelsmann's side have not been at their best since defeating World Cup minnows Curacao in their opening fixture at this tournament, which will give Paraguay hope of pulling off a famous upset.
