Wales will be looking to maintain their position as Group 4’s table-toppers in League B of the Nations League on Wednesday. Ryan Giggs’ side have taken seven points from 10 so far this season and face a Bulgaria team still awaiting their first victory.

Clean sheets have been the order of the campaign for Wales to date. A 0-0 draw with Republic of Ireland on Sunday made it three successive shut-outs after back-to-back victories over Finland and Bulgaria. A win here would put Wales in pole position to win promotion to League A, particularly if Ireland do them a favour by taking points off second-placed Finland.

Giggs will be delighted with his side’s defensive record, but there is cause for concern in attack. Two goals in three games isn’t a great return, and Wales had to wait until the final few minutes to strike against both Finland and Bulgaria last month.

With Gareth Bale remaining with Tottenham during this international break, Wales will again be without their star man for the trip to Sofia. David Brooks will also miss out with a hamstring injury, while Kieffer Moore is suspended after getting booked against Ireland.

Ethan Ampadu, usually deployed as a midfielder at international level, looks set to continue in the backline due to injuries elsewhere. As ever, Aaron Ramsey will be relied upon for creativity in the final third, with Daniel James and Harry Wilson providing support from the flanks.

Bulgaria were disappointing in their 2-0 defeat by Finland on Sunday and will be desperate to climb off bottom spot in Group 4 sooner rather than later. It’s been a difficult couple of years for the nation of Hristo Stoichkov and Dimitar Berbatov: Bulgaria have won only one game since the middle of October 2018.

Dimitar Velkovski and Bozhidar Kraev are pushing for recalls from manager Georgi Dermendzhiev after beginning the Finland loss on the bench.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm BST and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Football in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Bulgaria vs Wales live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jamie Vardy goal. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:
