England legend Wayne Rooney is in the studio for this one, having appeared at several major tournaments for the Three Lions himself.

He and Cates are joined by Joe Hart and Micah Richards to offer their thoughts on this mammoth fixture.

Hart and Richards have 88 England caps between them, in addition to Rooney's 120.

Serving as the match’s main commentary voice is Guy Mowbray, a veteran broadcaster synonymous with the BBC.

Alongside him is the Premier League's greatest ever goalscorer and former England skipper Alan Shearer, taking on the role of co-commentator.

The winner of Mexico vs England will take on the victor of Brazil and Norway in the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals.

The last eight fixture is scheduled to be played on Saturday, July 11 at 10pm BST.
