Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is attempting to rebuild Manchester United this summer after another damp fart of a campaign which leaves them without Champions League football for 2019/20.
The Norwegian has a list of underperformers he wants out, but with so many on eye-watering contracts, finding new homes for them is no mean feat. Others (alright there, Paul?) fancy tunnelling out their own way.
Still, so far this summer Solskjaer has managed to snap up one youngster and tie down an old-timer, and it looks as though he’ll get his way for Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka in an imminent £50m move.
But who would the 21-year-old south Londoner be following into Old Trafford? This quiz of United’s last 50 signings goes back to January 2008, straddling the managerial reigns of Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole himself.
You’ve got eight minutes to name as many of them as you can from the clues provided – the transfer window in which they were snapped up in, plus each player’s previous club. Spot the odd one out.
When you’re done, tell us with a screenshot @FourFourTwo – we’ll retweet your scores. After you’re done, tag some pals…
PLEASE NOTE: Players must have played a Premier League game for United, to avoid a couple of grey spots. Sorry, Lee Grant.
