Need to know: Schuurs made his Fortuna Sittard debut at 16, and was club captain by the age of 17. At this rate, the young Dutchman could become something seriously impressive if the last year is any indication. Need to know: Moore has been on quite a journey already in his career. Available for: £2.9m (compensation)
Need to know: One of the biggest bargains in FM 2018. Little is known about the 15-year-old French striker (who turns 16 in-game in August) other than his brief appearance for Lyon this season. He’s wanted by Bayern Munich and Chelsea – and his stats reflect that. Is this another Messi-style spot for the FM team or a Tonton Zola Moukoko? Only time will tell.
Available for: £3.4m
Need to know: While he’s unlikely to hit the heights of others on this list, Timothy Weah – son of George – isn’t at PSG because of who is dad is. The New York-born youngster recently made headlines with a stunning hat-trick at the U17 World Cup. Like father, like son?
