Quiz! Can you name the 50 players with the most Premier League appearances for Manchester United?

Chris Smalling Roma

With Chris Smalling on his way out to Roma on loan, can you name the long-serving Red Devils who’ve featured most often in the league since 1992/93?

We are part of The Trust Project What is it?

As one of only six teams that have played in every single Premier League season, Manchester United and their players have racked up the matches in England's top flight since 1992/93.

We're fairly certain that one Welsh winger in particular is still writing his own name on teamsheets in 2019/20, having featured in an incredible 632 of these matches for the Red Devils – and that's not even counting the ones he played in before football was invented. A fairly easy answer below, we'd imagine, but it gets a bit trickier as you go on.

One of the other men involved here looks set to be leaving Old Trafford imminently; Chris Smalling is all set for a surprise loan move to Roma after nine-and-a-half years as a United player. Somebody get that man a testimonial (once he's finished nipping around the Italian capital in a Fiat 500, obviously).

United fans will be pleased to see the appearances of some current fledglings in this quiz, three of whom come with near-identical appearance records. Good on 'em.

Total Premier League games and nationality are below. We’ve put 10 minutes on the clock – then let us know how you get on @FourFourTwo (with proof!). A free Fred the Red costume for anyone who gets a perfect 50: although you have to make it yourself...
