Cheltenham Town v Manchester City live stream, BBC One, Saturday 23 January, 5.30pm GMT

Manchester City will be looking to maintain their fine recent form when they face Cheltenham in the FA Cup this weekend.

Pep Guardiola’s side extended their winning run in all competitions to nine matches on Wednesday, as they saw off Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium. City were the better team on the night but needed two late goals to overcome stubborn opposition, with Villa particularly unhappy that the hosts’ opener was not ruled out for offside after Tyrone Mings was robbed of possession by Rodri.

Regardless, City have now gone 450 minutes without conceding a goal, and it is that defensive solidity that has made them favourites to win the Premier League title. City are now two points adrift of top spot, while they also booked their place in the League Cup final earlier this month. Guardiola will now turn his attention to a competition he won in 2018/19, when City demolished Watford at Wembley.

Cheltenham win: 20/1
Man City win: 1/11

Cheltenham beat Mansfield after extra time in the third round, but they have hit a sticky patch in League Two in recent weeks. A run of seven games without a win has seen Michael Duff’s side slip to sixth in the table, although they are still only four points adrift of top spot having played exactly half their 46 matches.

City will have to make do without Aymeric Laporte, Nathan Ake and Sergio Aguero for their trip to Gloucestershire. Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker were both forced off in the victory over Villa and will need to be assessed, although neither was likely to start this game anyway.

Cheltenham will be unable to call upo Lewis Freestone, Chris Hussey and Scott Flinders as they seek a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since the 2001/02 campaign.

Kick-off is at 5.30pm GMT and the game is being shown on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Cheltenham Town v Manchester City live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.
